Each plot is $500.00
Burial Services
Full burial with vault ~ Monday-Friday before 2 p.m. / $200.00
Full burial ~ after 2 p.m. or on Saturday or holiday / $250.00
($50 more due to overtime for employee)Ashes burial ~ Monday-Friday before 2 p.m. / $100.00
Ashes burial ~ Saturday or holiday / $50.00
($50 more due to overtime for employee)Ashes burial ~ Family chooses to prepare site / No charge
(Please notify the sexton of the cemetery in advance)
Monuments
Monuments must all be approved by the sexton of the cemetery before they can be set on the plot. Forms are available at the City of Newcastle office or online.
Care of Plots
Greenwood Cemetery is not a perpetual care cemetery. Mowing and watering are provided, however. The owner of the plot is responsible for planting grass and maintaining their plots and monuments.
